mak and i @ Siargao

This time I let myzol do the work...

It was one Saturday morning (July 14, 2012) a day before our 2nd year anniversary when we had our siargao adventure together with my collegues in the ASEAN Integration. as the host of the event, I looked so haggard and my lovelife has been deprived. feeling the guilt and sorry for him, as much as I could, I find time for him and make our second year day spacial and memorable. I got to sleep at 1am with our guests at Hotel Tavern and have to wake up at 5am, and call him for our assembly at the City Boulevard for the 6am ride in a JSV boat Siargao Island which arrived at 9am at the Dapa Port.

From the port, we were welcomed by the Siargao Team, Provincial Tourism with Ms. Donna as our tour guide. With the Province Coaster, we were headed to our first stop in Magpupongco, Pilar, Siargao, 1 hour away from dapa Port, and just [1]located just 2 kilometers from the poblacion area, this beach has always been a symbol of majesty of the seas which carved out this rock formation. The area has fine emerald glittering seas perfect for swimming, sun-bathing, snorkeling and other recreational activities. Surrounded by limestone and granite sculptures facing the Pacific Ocean, its pockmarked limestone floor reveals pools of assorted shapes and sizes resembling basins, barrels, tubs and ponds during low tide.

A breath taking and inviting view of which i never had a second thought of touching the sea water

At exactly 11am, we depart for Cloud 9, Siargao, where we spend two hours for our lunch and visit to Cloud 9 tower. We enjoyed the palatable seafoods, the shrimp and the steamed fish i like the most from the dishes in Boardwalk. the 1 hour and 30 minutes ride to Cloud 9, makes me feel very hungry and i immediately attend to the foods and not to the picture taking. Which i also felt guilty and unethical to be the first one in the line to get food from the guest while Mak was the last in line. But then, the food was really awesome.

After our tummy is being satisfied and full, we then proceeded to the Cloud 9 tower. We saw some kids having their surfing lessons, the waves that time was not so big.

Our most awaited part is the Daku Island, daku form its name as the largest Island. 5mins travel time from Cloud 9 to General Luna Port and walk a kilometer to reach the boat to bring us to the Island. There we really had our swimming session. The beach and its fine white sand inviting us all to swim and play around.

By 3pm we have to depart from the Island going back to the city by 7pm.
That was a very long but full of happy moments we will surely treasure.Thank you Lord for the oppotunity!
Thanks for reading!
